Born in Austin. Raised in an Oven

Back in 2019, I was standing in the protein bar aisle, and something clicked. Protein bars were everywhere, but cookies? Pretty much nonexistent. As a former personal trainer, I’d spent enough time avoiding junk food to know that most snacks marketed as “healthy” either tasted awful or weren’t all that good for you to begin with.

So, I went home, dug through my pantry, and threw together a batch of protein cookies using whatever ingredients I had on hand—think cashew butter, collagen, coconut sugar, almond flour. It wasn’t fancy, but it worked. Today, we make them in a much cleaner facility (thankfully), but the goal is still the same: make nostalgic treats with better ingredients.
