Are Good Word cookies gluten-free?

Yes. Every flavor is gluten-free and grain-free. We use almond flour and coconut flour as the base instead of wheat flour.

Are they dairy-free?

Yes. Good Word cookies contain no dairy. We use cashew butter and coconut-based ingredients instead.

Do you use seed oils?

No. We never use canola oil, vegetable oil, sunflower oil, or any other seed oil. The fat in our cookies comes from cashew butter and almond flour.

What sweetener do you use?

We sweeten with coconut sugar and cassava root syrup. No erythritol, no maltitol, no stevia, no artificial sweeteners of any kind.

Where does the protein come from?

Each cookie gets its 10 grams of protein from a combination of cashew butter, almond flour, eggs, and bovine collagen. No whey, no soy, no pea protein isolate.

Depending on the flavor: Chocolate Chip is 200 calories, Double Chocolate is 190 calories, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip is 210 calories per cookie (48g).

  • Are Good Word cookies gluten-free?

    Yes. Every Protein Cookie flavor is gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free, with almond flour and cashew butter in the base.

  • How much protein is in each cookie?

    Each Protein Cookie and Protein Square has 10g of protein. Cookies get their protein from bovine collagen. Squares use bovine collagen and pea protein crisps.

  • What flavors do you offer?

    Protein Cookies come in Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, plus a Variety Pack. Protein Squares come in Brownie Crunch, Blondie Crunch, and Cinnamon Crunch.

  • Are Good Word cookies vegan?

    Not quite. Our cookies use bovine collagen for the protein boost, so they aren't vegan or vegetarian. They are gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free.

  • What allergens should I know about?

    It depends on the product. Most of our cookies contain cashews, eggs, coconut, and almonds, and some include peanuts. Everything is produced in a facility that processes peanuts. Always check the back of the bag if you have specific allergies.

  • Why no seed oils or sugar alcohols?

    We use coconut sugar for sweetness and cashew butter for a rich texture. No seed oils and no sugar alcohols.

  • How should I store them?

    Keep them in a cool, dry place, they stay soft and chewy for the full shelf life. If you want extra firmness, pop them in the fridge for 10 minutes before eating.

  • How long do they stay fresh?

    Eat them as soon as possible! Like most cookies, once the bag is opened and they're exposed to air they don't stay fresh as long. The unopened bag has a best-by date stamped on it.

  • Where do you ship?

    We ship across the United States. Shipping rates and delivery timing show up at checkout based on your address.

  • How does Subscribe & Save work?
